"Dance has meant so many different things to me. It's been a means of expression and creative liberty. It's been a way for me to increase my time management skills. Dance has pushed me out of my comfort zone as I've learned to work and collaborate with others in performing arts environment, lean into different styles and techniques, and challenge myself with new skills and tricks. I would not be who I am today without dance, and I am so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve explored because of it."

"First, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all of the blessings and opportunities He has granted me; my loving parents, without whom I never would have been able to explore, grow, and learn in all of the areas that have piqued my interest, including dance (from long car rides, recitals, and competitions, to financial commitments and hard talks), they have really been by my side through my journey with dance, I truly appreciate all of the sacrifices that have been made on my behalf. I would also like to thank my younger sister, Olivia, who introduced me to taking dance more seriously as an extra-curricular. I want to thank Gabriella, my youngest sister, for always cheering me on so brightly. I love you all so much, and I couldn't have gotten this far without all of you! Lastly, but certainly not least, I want to say thank you to Ms. Amber for her support and coaching. She has always pushed me to dance my best in the time that I have been at her studio, and I am the dancer I am today because of her."

"I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done for me. I would also like to thank Kenzie Newton for coaching me and making me a better dancer and leader. Finally, I would like to thank all my dance teachers who have made me the dancer I am today."

"Dance has been a place where I can be challenged physically and mentally. It enables me to pursue my best, as well as encourage others to follow the same. Dance has also provided a plethora of lifelong friendships and lessons. My perseverance and diligence would not be the same without the presence of dance."

"I want to thank my coach, Morgan Coggins, for constantly pushing me to work hard and be my best. I have grown tremendously with my clogging and leadership skills, and she has been the majority of the reason why. I also would like to thank my parents for never letting me give up and following my love of dance through and through. Lastly, I want to thank the rest of my dance teachers and teammates for all the support and love I have received. Thank you for providing an environment of growth and encouragement."

It has given me a space to express myself, taught me dedication and time management, and most importantly, given me lasting friendships. I am looking forward to my future but am so thankful for the time I have spent dancing at AHOD and will always value dance and the memories I have made on the competition team!" ”

"I would like to thank the coaches and staff of AHOD for always pushing me to be my best! I would also like to thank my parents for their endless support over the past 15 years of my dance experience!"
